LLSC Book Fair: October 2026 Volunteer Opportunities
Lifeline South Coast Big Book Fair would not be possible without our dedicated volunteer team. Volunteers, just like you, from all backgrounds and experiences come together to help make this event a success.
Set-Up (Monday 19 - Thursday 22 October 2026)
During set-up, volunteers will assist with delivering, unpacking, and displaying over 80,000 books in preparation for our customers. This process spans four days, with a team each day, working together to get everything ready for opening day.
Event Dates (Thursday Night 22 - Sunday 25 October 2026)
As a Big Book Fair volunteer during trading days, your role will involve customer service in various capacities. You may be needed to help receive and pack donated books, greet customers as they arrive, tidy and restock books, assist customers in navigating the venue, tally purchases, or process sales at the register. There is something for everyone!
Pack-Up (Monday 26 October 2026)
During pack-up, volunteers will assist with packing up books, equipment and supplies and is the wrap up day following the event.
