Activity Leader
Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult volunteer at all times.
You will help provide an outlet for children in shelter going through a difficult time. Giving them the free space to play and learn with one-on-one interaction with someone whose background maybe not similar to their own. Our playroom consists of toys, games, puzzles, books, craft supplies, and an outdoor play area. Also, there is the opportunity to plan an activity of your choice.
This role does not count toward a service-learning requirement due to the inconsistencies in children who visit the playroom for proper field experience.
