Staff Assistance
The Staff Assistance Program at SVCOA is designed to ensure clients receive timely and personalized support from our dedicated team of professionals and trained volunteers.
As a volunteer in this program, you’ll play an important role in supporting staff with essential tasks that help the agency serve more clients, strengthen our community impact, and expand the reach of our services.
As part of this initiative, we’re introducing new Volunteer Leader roles—experienced volunteers will work closely with the SVCOA Volunteer Program staff to coordinate services, mentor fellow volunteers, assist with recruitment, plan trainings and gatherings as well as help manage specific program areas such as Community Wellness and Supportive Connections. Volunteer leaders play a vital role in expanding our reach and strengthening the overall impact of volunteer services, fostering a collaborative environment where staff and volunteers work together to meet the diverse needs of older adults, caregivers, and our community.
