⏩What else is coming up? - 🧚‍♀️GOSH Pantomime- Peter Pan

In February 2027, GOSH has a BIG birthday- we're turning 175 years old!

To celebrate, we're coproducing our very own pantomime- a very GOSH Peter Pan, celebrating our history and the people who make up GOSH today!

Together, we’ll build a performance full of personality, ideas and imagination from our GOSH community.

How you can get involved:

  • Acting and performing on stage
  • Helping to develop the story and characters
  • Designing sets and props
  • Making costumes
  • Supporting behind the scenes
  • Or simply joining in and being part of the fun

No experience is needed — just enthusiasm!

Who can take part?

  • GOSH patients
  • GOSH siblings
  • GOSH parents and carers
  • We'll also be working closely with lots of GOSH staff

Everyone is welcome, and there are lots of different ways to get involved.

We'll have roles & parts for everyone:

  • All ages and abilities
  • Ward and outpatient opportunities- if you want to take part, we'll find a way to make it happen!

Why get involved?

Taking part is a great way to:

  • Meet other families and young people
  • Try something creative and new
  • Build confidence and skills
  • Have fun and take a break from the ward
  • Be part of something special at GOSH

Get involved

Whether you’d like to perform, create, support behind the scenes, or simply take part — there is a role for you!

If you would like to take part, please sign up below.

At the moment, we are wanting to find out how many people are wanting to take part. We'll then be in touch across the next few months, with all the details about how to take part, and upcoming workshops. Make sure you're signed up so you don't miss out!

If you have any questions, or need help signing up, please email: GOSHVoice@gosh.nhs.uk

Frequently asked questions:

Will I have to audition?

No! We won’t be having any scary auditions! We'll be led by you on how you'd like to be involved, and what skills you'd like to bring and develop.

Does everyone get a part?

Yes! If you’d like to be involved we will make sure you have a role or part!

When will the performances be?

The pantomime will performed and recorded in February 2027. It will also be screened on the bedside entertainment system, so as many patients and families can watch and enjoy it.

We hope to also be able to share the performances on the GOSH website, so families at home can join in the celebrations too.

Will I have to be available on the day?

There'll be lots of opportunities to be involved before February - even if might not be able to join us for the final showing/ performance! For example, we'll be recording bits in advance.

If you'd like to get involved, but are not sure if you'll be able to make it on the day, please don't let this put you off - we'll make sure you're involved in a way that works for you.
