🧍Face to face - 🔍PLACE Assessors

PLACE ASSESSORS

PLACE stands for Patient-Led Assessment of the Care Environment. This is a national requirement where all hospitals are required to invite their patients to inspect inpatient and outpatient areas.

You will rate everything from how clean the floor is, to how tasty dessert is! PLACE assessors will go around the hospital in small groups along with a staff facilitator and complete a simple assessment form. The information that you provide helps create an action plan for improvement and also scores GOSH against similar hospitals.
