We’re inviting patients and their families to take part in a workshop and filming session.
During the workshop we will explore good and bad experiences you may have had with nursing staff – what was special about the good experiences? What could have made the bad experiences better?
Your insights will help us shape interview questions that reflect what truly matters to patients and families – ensuring our nursing workforce understands the expectations, priorities and lived experiences of parents and carers.
Patients and families then have the option of taking part in a filming session either acting out these scenarios, so that they can be presented to nursing staff during training sessions, or filming questions that can be shown to nursing candidates during recruitment interviews. The films will be used to support our recruitment and training processes, helping us select nurses who are compassionate, informed and family‑centred.
Whether you already have a question in mind or simply want to contribute your perspective, your involvement will make a meaningful difference.
Help us strengthen our nursing recruitment and training and champion the voices of families.
