Photography/Videography (Experience Required)

As a member of the Habitat Photography/ Videography team, you will be responsible for capturing designated photos either at an event or on the build site as outlined by the Volunteer Coordinator.


This Volunteer Position Involves: 

  • Capture and record events with camera/video camera (Using your own camera)
  • Make sequence shots and other relevant shots
  • Prepare a series of questions ready for each event if conducting interview
  • Edit video and add effects
  • Provide video or pictures to the office immediately following the event

Time Commitment:  Project based/as needed - 3-5 hours per month - min 1 year commitment

Qualifications/Experience Necessary: 

  • Prior photography experience Proven competency within the field and a review of the portfolio is required
  • Able and willing to follow Habitat for Humanity’s branding guidelines
  • Able to meet frequent tight deadlines
  • Proficient with video editing software 
  • flexible schedule are musts for this position
  • College educated graduate with two years’ experience in the industry is preferred
