Our volunteers play an important role in helping us provide hope, shelter and care to animals in need. Whether you’re spending time with animals, helping behind the scenes, or supporting events and programs, your time makes a difference.
Ways You Can Help

Help provide enrichment, exercise and companionship to animals in our care.
🏠 Support the Shelter
Help with cleaning, organizing and the day-to-day work that keeps our shelter running.
💙 Help Behind the Scenes
Share your skills through administration, events, fundraising and other volunteer opportunities.
Before You Apply
You don’t need previous animal experience to volunteer with us. We welcome people who are passionate about helping animals, regardless of background or experience.
Here are a few things to keep in mind:
- Be 18 years or older
- Commit to a consistent schedule of at least 2 hours per week
- Provide a valid Police Check dated within the last 6 months
- Demonstrate kindness, reliability and respect for animals and people
- Complete required orientation and training
