Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Oakland Animal Services (OAS)! Here are the first steps to becoming a volunteer:
1. View the 6-minute introductory video here.
2. Review our volunteering FAQ here.
3. Click "Fill in an application" on the right. You will be asked to create a username and enter your email address. Write down your username and password for future reference
4. Complete the form (about 10 minutes), which includes contact information and questions about the introduction video/FAQ
5. After submitting the form, the next step is to either sign up for an in-person Volunteer Information Session (optional), or proceed to complete the rest of the volunteer application. The links will be provided on the confirmation page after you submit the form
