El Capitan SB Hosts
El Capitan State Beach has Maintenance Host and Camp Host positions. The typical appointment is three months up to a maximum of six months.
Camp Host duties include assisting staff with fee collection, providing public information, reporting of incidents and emergencies, and light maintenance.
Maintenance Host duties include restroom cleaning, maintenance projects, grounds keeping, and reporting of incidents and emergencies.
The park has four Host campsites, each with a picnic table, fire ring, and water, electrical, water, and sewer hookups.
