Oakoasis County Preserve - MLK Day Park Beautification at Oakoasis County Preserve
Event Description:
Join us for a park beautification project at Oakoasis County Preserve where you and your family can give back to the environment through a fun and rewarding tree-planting experience.
Planting Party Details:
Under the guidance of County Park staff, volunteers will help plant trees and plants throughout the park’s landscaped areas. No planting experience is needed, just bring your enthusiasm and love for nature!
Where:
Oakoasis County Preserve 12620 Wildcat Canyon Road, Lakeside, CA 92040
Shift:
9:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M.
Volunteer Details:
- Open to all ages; perfect for individuals, families, and groups.
- Light gardening tasks may include digging, placing plants, mulching, and watering.
- For volunteers helping with supplies or tools, the ability to lift 30 lbs. or more is helpful.
- Tools and planting materials will be provided.
Important Information:
Volunteer Parking is in the parking lot for Oakoasis County Preserve.
Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, layered clothes, and protection from the sun. Bring water and be ready to make an impact!
