JUMMA PRAYERS SUPPORT – MNN Mosque (Brothers ONLY)

Reports To: MNN Operations Leaders (Br. Zia, Br. Ali, Br. Waqar)
Location: MNN Masjid, 3520 Odyssey Dr, Mississauga, ON L5M 0Y9.
Duration: Every Friday, 3 Shifts (1:00 PM - 2:00 PM), (2:00 PM- 3:00 PM) (3:00 PM -4:00 PM)
 No. of Positions in each shift: 3

Role Purpose:

Assist in ensuring a smooth and organized experience for Musalleen (Sisters) during JUMMA prayers by following the instructions of the Team Leader and supporting various masjid operations as needed, with responsibilities including but not limited to:

• Supporting crowd control to ensure smooth movement within the masjid.
• Guiding Musalleen to designated prayer spaces, washrooms, and exits.
• Assisting with donation collection 
• Helping maintains a calm and welcoming atmosphere, including:
• Assisting individuals experiencing distress or medical issues.
• Supporting emergency situations and escalating matters to the  Team Leader as needed.
• Performing any additional tasks assigned by the Team Leader to ensure smooth Prayer’s operations. 

Process & Guidelines:

• Only signed-up volunteers are permitted to perform tasks.
• Any cancellations must be communicated at least one day before the next shift to allow for proper adjustments.
• Volunteers must check in and check out with the Team Leader to ensure proper logging of volunteer hours.
