To provide a gift of service to LMS residents with the gifts and talents God has given to a volunteer.


  • Make sure what you have chosen to share with residents is approved by Volunteer Director and Activity staff.
  • Plan activity and be prepared to implement with all the necessary materials needed.  Reimbursement is available with prior approval.
  • Provide enjoyment to others


  • Must enjoy working with the elderly
  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Needs to be self-directed and able to work well with others


Time Commitment/Hours:

  • 1 - 2 hours per opportunity which includes preparation.  Can be on-going if desired or a one-time event.
