Campus - Intergenerational Visits
Purpose:
- To provide the opportunity for residents to interact with young children.
Benefits to resident/Presbyterian Homes:
- Residents have the opportunity for socialization.
- Opportunity for community contact.
- Enhance resident’s quality of life through reminiscence.
Responsibilities:
- Will safely supervise children.
- Will be conscious of infection control regarding health and cleanliness.
- Will assist children in interacting with residents in an appropriate manner.
Qualifications/Skills/Requirement:
- Caring cheerful attitude.
- Ability to interact with a variety of personalities.
Time Commitment/Hours:
- 1 hour.

Training and/or Support Provided:
- General Volunteer orientation.
- Specific training provided by R.T./Activity staff.
