COMPUTER EDUCATOR

Purpose:  Provide an opportunity for residents to have help with their computer questions and problems.

Responsibilities: 

  • To act in good faith to educate on computer literacy.
  • Work with residents, if necessary, in their apartments to resolve computer issues.

Qualifications:

  • Expert computer knowledge
  • Ability to communicate in understandable terms to senior residents
  • Enjoy working with the senior population
  • Must be self-directed and self-motivated
  • Kind, compassionate and patient disposition

Time Commitment/Hours:

  • Class held at least once a month
  • Working on a 1-1 basis with residents as needed

  • Build relationships with senior residents
  • Feel good about teaching residents new things and also learn from them

  • Campus Life Enrichment Director
  • Volunteer Director
