Become a Libraries and Galleries Volunteer
Western Downs Libraries
Volunteering at Western Downs Libraries is a life-enriching, rewarding experience. Volunteers work side-by-side with Council employees to strengthen customer service and programs and enhance the Library’s relationship with the local community. There are many opportunities to suit different interests and skills; we need and appreciate help with all manner of Library tasks.
Library Services volunteers may assist with a variety of tasks; whether you enjoy being hands-on with books, creating displays, or interacting with our customers, there's a role for you.
Library Services volunteers working with children will require a Working with Children Blue Card. If you don’t already have one, WDRC can help you to apply for one free of charge.
