Grace Church & Youth Unlimited Partnership      

Our Grace Church & Youth Unlimited ministry focuses on youth in the community of East Abbotsford, prioritizing responsive and practical support to youth and families through school involvement at clubs, coaching, evening events and day trips. This is accompanied by mentoring times and small group connections.  Grace Church & Abbotsford YU share a like-minded approach to see healing and strengthening in the community we are a part of; with the church providing a sort of home base and YU providing supportive youth ministry expertise.

This ministry is in it's beginning stages.  We are excited to announce that we have hired Kathlyn Jarvis to the team!  Kathlyn (pictured below) is an experienced volleyball coach and caring mentor.  She is in the process of developing her financial and prayer partners and will begin ministry upon completion of this goal. Our team is on the lookout for volunteers who have a passion to lead, mentor, love and invest in youth. Volunteers help run after school clubs, coach school sports, run evening youth nights, go on day trips and connect one-on-one and in small group settings.  We are also looking for support volunteers who can be involved as drivers, bakers, janitorial and event planning.  We are in a position to screen & orient our volunteers in preparation for service.  Please click on one of the links below to apply.  Thank you!  We will keep you posted on when hands on ministry will begin.

We can't help but see the hope and potential in every young person we meet and reach through community specific programs. We’re committed to extending Christ’s love to youth who otherwise are falling through the cracks. Our purpose is to see these young lives transformed through relationships. It all starts with connection, the moment when a young person meets a Youth Unlimited youth worker or volunteer who will be there for them for the long haul.
