Why volunteer?  Volunteers are given the chance to meet new people and help those in need while contributing to the community and learning new skills.

CapitalCare works to design rewarding volunteer programs that offer various roles throughout our Continuing Care residences.  Volunteers enhance the quality of life for our residents and patients!


Volunteer Opportunities at Norwood:


Rehabilitation/Physiotherapy Assistant

                        Friendly Visitor        Recreation                            Gift Shop

                        Pet visitor                 Palliative Care                     Mealtime Assistance

                        Seasonal/Short Term Positions (30 hour commitment not needed)


COMMITMENT REQUIREMENTS:  All volunteers should be prepared to volunteer at least 30 hours in 4 months (except for seasonal or short term positions).
