Education Volunteers

Guest Ambassador/Docent

Responsibilities would include:

• Greeting our paid tour guests at the main entrance 

• Guiding tour guests to their animal destination

• Learn all about the species that call Abilene Zoo home and enthusiastically share that information with our guests

• Assist with set up and tear down for Birthday parties

• Educate the general public using a variety of animal artifacts

• Assist with animal celebration days in the zoo
