How You Can Help

Special Events

Thanksgiving and Christmas are swiftly approaching. We serve a community meal on Thanksgiving, and there are many volunteer needs for that. Christmas offers volunteer activities at the Angel Tree warehouse and the community meal served on Christmas Day.

Angel Tree program

Angel Tree is the program that provides Christmas gifts to children in need. Opportunities are available to help distribute the Angel tags, collect and organize the gifts as they come in, and distribution dates are December 21, 22 and 23. Additionally there is an all ages, family friendly food packing day on Saturday, December 4th.

Family Stores

We currently have 2 locations of Family Store (thrift store) one on US 41 just south of Gladiolus, and one on Del Prado Blvd. in Cape Coral. Duties would include merchandising, cleaning and customer service.

We're located at 26820 Old US 41 Road in Bonita Springs, across the street from the Dollar Tree.

Please feel free to call our office with any questions:  (239) 948-5200.  We're happy to help :)

Triage and Low Demand Shelter

The Triage and Low Demand Shelter has also been called the Emergency Shelter. This is a place that individuals that need an immediate relief from living on the streets or in the woods can go. Some decide to take advantage of the case management and collaborative agencies to make a change in their lives. Others may leave and go back to where they came in from. The hope is always that at least one person decides to move towards a home of their own. There are various activities available here.
