Are you looking to make a difference in the lives of both pets and people? We encourage you to look at our various volunteering opportunities below to see if you are a good fit for our volunteer team! In addition to our online training modules, we also offer on-the-spot trainings during your first shifts with us.
Join us today by filling out an application! Once you application is completed, you will receive an email with links to our Volunteer Orientation video and other steps to complete in order to be accepted. Once accepted, you will be able learn more through our online training modules to sign up for more opportunities!
*Junior Volunteers (6-17 years of age) are required to be accompanied by a parent/guardian. If you would like to become a Junior Volunteer, please have your parent/guardian fill out an application and enter your information in the space provided.
Help us keep our shelter clean with basic tasks such as dishes, sweeping/mopping, and wiping down surfaces.
*Must complete Volunteer Orientation and Hand Hygiene training.
Help us show our shelter kitties some love and affection! In addition to spending time with them, involve them in activities that stimulate them both mentally and physically.
*Must complete Volunteer Orientation, Enrichment training, Cat Body Language training, and Cat Body Language webinar.
Help us prepare enrichment toys for our pets such as slow feeders, frozen food bowls, Kongs, and more!
*Must complete Volunteer Orientation and Enrichment training.
Help our dogs stretch their legs while getting some fresh air.
*Must complete Volunteer Orientation, Dog Walk training, Dog Body Language training, and Dog Body Language webinar.
Depending on the event, this could include greeting/checking in guests, running a booth, taking photographs, and more.
