Monitor nest boxes at Maroochy Wetland Sanctuary for this citizen science activity and help record observations of wildlife use, nest conditions, and environmental information!
The monitoring of nest boxes at the sanctuary will involve a 2 kilometer walk between the meeting location and nest boxes. Wearing protective clothes is essential, you won't be allowed to monitor nest boxes otherwise. Please bring suitable clothing (long sleeves, pants, comfortable closed walking shoes) to walk on trails and off-trails (if required). As this site is wetland habitat, you can bring gumboots or have enclosed shoes that can get wet. Also, mosquitoes will likely be around, we will have insect repellent available but prepare yourself accordingly if you are sensitive to mosquito bites.
