Position Types
Food Bank/Banque Alimentaire
As a food bank volunteer, you will assist with, client intake, the distribution of food to clients and help maintain the organization and cleanliness of the food storage area.
Food Prep
As a prep volunteer, you will work behind the scenes to support meal preparation for both the sandwich service and supper. This role involves working with various kitchen tools and ingredients.
Coffee Service
During the coffee service, you will assist with meal and beverage service, ensuring clients are warmly welcomed and meals are served efficiently.
Server Shift
As a server, you will assist with meal and beverage service, ensuring clients are warmly welcomed and meals are served efficiently.
Special Events
Helping with fundraisers and special events such as Community Christmas Dinner, Christmas concert fundraiser or the Harvest Fundraiser.
Transportation
To help transport food to our satellite food bank. This shift is available Wednesdays. A valid driver's license and vehicle are required.
Social Media
Monitoring and posting to our Facebook page, Instagram and website (Squarespace). Including service updates. This involves following our communications schedule and promoting scheduled events.
