General Support
Completing tasks that help clinical team to be able to focus on timely care tasks.
Tasks could include:
- Perform check-ins with each resident to determine if they have any needs that you, as a volunteer, would be able to assist with. Volunteers are able to assist with non-personal care needs.
- Perform tasks for staff and residents to improve the residents’ quality of life.
- Engage residents in conversations while completing tasks.
- Communicate with staff about existing resident needs’ met and unmet.
- Assist during meal time by assisting with taking orders, getting beverages, setting up or clearing the dining room, etc.
