Welcome Volunteers

To The Historic Trust volunteers (past, current and future), let us offer our deepest gratitude to all of you who contribute your time, energy, experience and expertise to The Historic Trust and its programs, events, and activities.  It is your commitment to our mission that allows us to serve so many and to offer such a variety of community opportunities.

With our mighty but small staff, The Historic Trust and its programs could not operate without a cadre of committed, long-term community volunteers. Volunteers contribute hours of service every month and play a key role in helping us fulfill our mission.  As we grow and evolve our community offerings, it is crucial that we continue to promote a favorable and lasting impression of our work and mission in the minds of everyone with whom we interact, including clients, donors, media, volunteers and the general public.  Our volunteers are important to us and we ask for your help to create a safe and meaningful volunteer experience. With that, all volunteers should review and acknowledge receipt of our organization policies and processes.

We count on you in so many ways, from assisting our visitors to insure their experience is the best it can be, to providing vital support behind the scenes to our staff members and for serving as informed advocates for the Trust across our region.  We value your knowledge of this community and our organization, and are rewarded by your presence, and we want your experience to be rich and meaningful.  We invite your comments, suggestions and ideas for way we can enhance our services, programs, and activities for the thousands of visitors that come to our site.

You are our lifeline to success.  We appreciate your service!
