Trick or Treat Trail 2022 - Event Volunteer - Costume Character

Event Description: Come out to our FREE Kids Trick or Treat Trail where we transition a portion of the Dave Kerwin Trail (approximately 1km) from its evening Haunted Halloween Trail theme into a much more child friendly experience. With spooky decorations, animatronics and actors in costume, children under the age of 10 and their families are invited to come dressed up in their Halloween costumes and get a head start on trick-or-treating!
Volunteer Opportunity: The Town of Newmarket is looking for friendly and energetic volunteers who are willing to dress up in a Halloween costume (of your choosing) to assist with handing out Halloween candy to the event participants. Volunteers will also be asked to assist with event set up and tear down.
Volunteers will be asked to arrive at Environmental Park (325 Woodspring Ave.) for 11:00 a.m. Your shift will conclude at approximately 4:00 p.m.
- Volunteers are to provide their own costumes. NOTE: Our Trick or Treat Trail event is intended for ages 10 and under, please select and wear costumes that would be deemed appropriate.
- Volunteers are welcome to bring their costumes with them and get changed on site upon arrival. Change rooms and portable washrooms will be available on site.
- If you are volunteering for the purposes of High School hours, please ensure you bring your Volunteer Hours Form with you for completion.
All volunteers will be required to show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination.
