Dog Walker (requires orientation)
Help with dogs' daily enrichment!
Walk a dog around the shelter campus, including a small trail along the road. Ensure dog is comfortable and safe, including comfortability with the leash / harness / slip lead and keeping a distance between other animals around the shelter. Must clean up after the dog during the walk, poop bags can be found in the front desk area.
Must be 18 years or older.
Orientation / mentorship is required; the volunteer coordinator will be in contact with you to schedule it.
