Mission Statement
UVM Home Health & Hospice provides hospice care to residents of Chittenden & Grand Isle Counties and at the McClure Miller Respite House. Our agency promotes dignity and quality of life during a person’s last months of life. This specially coordinated, comprehensive program provides skilled care and comfort to children and adults with terminal illness, allowing them to enjoy their last months surrounded by the people they love in a setting that is comfortable for them.
Volunteers are the heart and soul of UVM Home Health & Hospice and have played a central role in our overall success since 1906. Home Health & Hospice serves upwards of 5,000 individuals and families each year and could not do this without the help of our dedicated volunteers. Last year, nearly 600 individuals and community groups generously contributed their time and talents.
Hospice Volunteers serve Vermont communities and at the McClure Miller Respite House. Experience is not required, just a caring, can-do attitude and willingness to help make a difference.
