Youth Ministries - Sunday School Teacher
Reports to: Youth Pastor
Sunday School Teachers have the responsibility of the preparation and presentation of the weekly Sunday School lesson to their particular class. Each teacher should gear lessons to the understanding and receptivity of their age group. The Sunday School Teacher should also take a keen interest in their students and contact them in their absence. Other duties are proper record keeping of class attendance, setting and cleaning up of classroom and class participation in special events.
Must be confident, articulate, warm, passionate about sharing God's word, able to relate to children and lead them in an organized classroom setting. Must be in good physical condition in order to keep up with the children in your care- may require some lifting up to 30 lbs, bending, running and reaching. You must pass a detailed background check and be reliable. Hours required: 9:30 AM- 12:00 PM every Sunday.
