Conservation education volunteer
If you have an interest in Education and Conservation, why not join our small Education Team as a volunteer. We are looking for someone who can commit to help us on Thursdays and/or Fridays 10am -2/3pm (a commitment to help on both days would be preferred). We may also ask you to help out on the odd weekend as and when required.
You will be helping with:

Public engagement activities or days

Assisting at keeper talks i.e. with props such as skulls etc.

Assisting with school visits, clubs and courses that the education team run

Need to be comfortable around invertebrates such as cockroaches and African land snails

Helping to maintain the teaching space and keeping it clean and presentable

Conservation activities
This volunteering opportunity requires an interview with our Head of Education and may be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
