Benefits Enrollment Center - Benefits Field Specialist
The role of the Field Specialist volunteer is to assist in connecting clients with programs by conducting a benefits screening, providing education, assisting with completing and submitting benefit applications to partner agencies and making referrals as needed. Most of the benefits programs the volunteer connects clients to are related to food, health care, and energy assistance.
This is a home-visiting volunteer position. To best meet the needs of our clients, the volunteer provides services face-to-face to the client in their home or other locations of their choosing in the community.
