Zoo Crew Program
The Saginaw Children’s Zoo provides a unique opportunity for teens to volunteer in the community in a fun, safe environment. Spend your summer learning job-applicable skills, make new friends, earn community service hours for school, and more as a part of Zoo Crew!

Adult Volunteer Program
Our Adult Volunteer Program accepts volunteers over 18 years of age who are interested in volunteering with us throughout the year. These dedicated, passionate members of our community will have the opportunity to assist with community gardens, grounds maintenance, Carousel and Train rides, unique conservation projects, special events, and/or community outreach events! Do you have skills, abilities, or time that you'd like to donate? There's always something to do at the zoo!

Internship Programs
Our internship programs provide hands-on, real world experience for individuals pursuing careers in a related field. While our internships are unpaid, they offer long-term, intensive working experiences that relate directly with your preferred course of study. Upon completion of internships, we are more than happy to offer appropriate recommendations and advice.
