Events - Volunteer with iSpeak915
We are inviting multilingual individuals to volunteer with El Paso County for a one-time, 3–4 hour event.
We recently launched a new language access service and are conducting staff training across various County buildings. As part of this effort, we need volunteers who speak a language other than English or Spanish to help us test and demonstrate the service in real-time.
Volunteers will:
- Travel with our team to different County offices (transportation provided by the County)
- Learn about the services offered at each location
- Receive information in their native language using our new language technology
This will help County staff better understand how the technology works and how to support residents who speak different languages.
At the end of the event, volunteers will receive:
- Better understanding of county services
- Community service hours
- A thank you letter/certificate
- County swag
