Sacramento County, Bradshaw Animal Shelter

You know what they say about bunnies... and it's true...  they multiply quickly! Sadly, many end up shelters, unfortunately. We're seeking help with morning cleaning/feeding for our rabbits, and small critters such as Guinea Pigs, hamsters, Chinchillas, and sometimes even friendly pet rats! Volunteers clean and refresh cages and rabbit litter boxes, and ensure proper food, water and toys, as needed. Some prior handling experience is preferred, in addition to successful completion of two 2-hour training sessions. Time commitment is a schedule of at least one 2 to 3.5 hour shift each week, depending upon the number of buns we have in the shelter. Shifts generally begin about 8AM, although times can be somewhat flexible.
