10. Kong Cleaning & Stuffing
Help clean and stuff Kongs as a special treat and much-loved form of kennel enrichment for our dogs. Kongs are a hollow, beehive-shaped hard rubber chew toy. When stuffed with kibble and peanut butter, they give our dogs "something to do" by stimulating their minds and providing them a way to channel some of their pent-up kennel stress. Shift are 2-3+ hours, depending upon the number of Kongs to be cleaned/stuffed. This is one of the most simple, yet gratifying, volunteer roles!
