MOTHER GOOSE PROGRAM VOLUNTEER
Help create meaningful connections for young children, parents and caregivers through stories, songs and shared experiences.
As a Mother Goose Program Volunteer, you will support a welcoming weekly program that brings together parents, caregivers and children aged 0–5 years through nursery rhymes, storytelling and interactive play. Held at Mansfield Library during school terms, the program helps foster early learning, social connection and community engagement for local families.
How you can help
- Assist with nursery rhymes, storytelling and interactive activities.
- Welcome and support families attending the program.
- Encourage participation and engagement in group activities.
- Help create a warm, inclusive and nurturing environment for children and caregivers.
- Support the ongoing development and success of the program within the community.
What we're looking for
- A friendly, caring and reliable approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy and respect for people from diverse backgrounds.
- An interest in supporting children, families and community connection.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow staff guidance.
When you can volunteer
- Thursdays during school terms, 9:30am – 10:30am.
