COMMUNITY SUPPORT VOLUNTEER
Help older people remain independent, connected and supported within their own homes and community.
As a Community Support Volunteer, you will assist older community members with practical tasks and social support that help them continue living safely and independently. Every volunteer contribution is unique, with opportunities matched to your skills, interests and availability.
How you can help
- Provide transport to appointments, shopping trips and community activities.
- Assist with light household tasks and practical support as needed.
- Help with pet care, gardening, stacking firewood and other small jobs.
- Offer companionship and social connection to community members.
- Support older people to maintain their independence and wellbeing.
