EASY MOVERS VOLUNTEER
Help older people stay active, connected and engaged through a supportive weekly exercise program.
As a Community Exercise Volunteer, you will support a weekly strength and balance program for older community members with independent mobility. This group provides opportunities for physical activity, social connection and community participation in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
How you can help
- Welcome and assist participants as they attend the weekly program.
- Encourage participation and social interaction amongst group members.
- Provide a friendly and supportive presence throughout the session.
- Assist staff with the smooth running of activities as required.
- Help create a positive, inclusive and enjoyable experience for all participants.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy, patience and respect for people from diverse backgrounds.
- A genuine interest in supporting older people to remain active and connected.
