MEN'S GROUP VOLUNTEER
Help create opportunities for connection, conversation and community for local men.
As a Men's Group Volunteer, you'll support a welcoming and engaging program that brings men together to share experiences, build friendships and participate in social activities. Meeting fortnightly on Mondays, the group provides an opportunity for participants to stay connected, active and involved in their community.
How you can help
- Assist with group activities, outings and social events.
- Support participants during visits within the local area and outings to pubs, clubs and community venues.
- Encourage conversation, social interaction and meaningful connections.
- Help create a welcoming, inclusive and supportive environment.
- Offer companionship and a friendly presence to group participants.
What we're looking for
- A friendly, caring and reliable approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy, patience and respect for people from diverse backgrounds.
- A genuine interest in supporting social connection and community participation.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow staff guidance.
When you can volunteer
- Fortnightly on Mondays, 10:00am – 2:30pm.
