Canada Day Volunteer

Position Description:
We are looking for friendly and reliable volunteers to help support our Canada Day celebrations. Volunteers will be assigned to different areas of the event based on event needs, availability, and interests. Roles may include helping with parking, assisting with shuttles, supporting kids’ activities, helping with live music and entertainment areas, providing general event support, and assisting guests throughout the day.

Possible Volunteer Duties:

• Welcome and direct guests
• Assist with parking or traffic flow
• Help guests using shuttle services
• Support children’s activities and family-friendly programming
• Assist performers, vendors, or event staff as needed
• Help with setup, cleanup, or general event tasks
• Answer basic questions and help create a positive event experience

Ideal Volunteers Are:

• Friendly, dependable, and comfortable working with the public
• Able to follow directions and work as part of a team
• Flexible and willing to help where needed
• Comfortable being outdoors and standing or walking for part of the shift

Time Commitment:
Volunteer shifts will be available throughout the day. Specific assignments and shift times will be shared closer to the event.

Additional Note:
Applicants may indicate any preferred areas of interest, but final volunteer assignments will be based on event needs.
