To support a respectful, collaborative, and productive working environment, the Township may utilize a general screening and vetting process when reviewing applications for municipal volunteer working groups.
Working groups are intended to support constructive community input, collaboration, and project-focused discussion. They are not intended to serve as political platforms, advocacy bodies, campaign forums, or religious platforms. - Alignment with the goals, scope, and expectations of the working group.
- Demonstrated ability to participate respectfully and collaboratively in community discussions.
- Previous volunteer or community involvement, where applicable.
To support consistency and due diligence:
- Applications may be reviewed collaboratively by departmental staff, communications department and Senior Management, where appropriate.
