Mission Statement

Shoreditch Trust is a charity formed in 2000 working to support communities to address the causes of disadvantage in the most deprived areas of London Borough of Hackney.

The Trust retains a particular focus on supporting and empowering the communities of Shoreditch, but also works collaboratively with a wide network of partner organisations locally, nationally and internationally, helping to address social exclusion in areas also characterised by significant disadvantage.

Shoreditch Trust aims to tackle inequality and exclusion across deprived and disadvantaged neighbourhoods with a particular concentration on activity in Shoreditch. By focussing on the root causes of inequality we aim to enable individuals, families and communities improve their mental, physical and social wellbeing.

Mission & Values

To provide a long term commitment to deliver real changes and to improve the wellbeing of Shoreditch and communities characterised by similar forms of disadvantage: by wellbeing we mean a more holistic definition - complete mental, physical and social wellbeing.

Strategic and Corporate Priorities

The Trust is able to respond dynamically to the changing needs of our communities and the emerging policy landscape by reviewing and reassessing not only what we do, but how we do it.
