Nonspecific Location - TWI Delivery Driver Volunteer
Reporting to The Way In Central or The Way In North West Supervisor, the TWI Delivery Driver Volunteer is responsible for picking up food and delivering it to participants within either the North West (yellow) or Central (purple) regions, as seen in the map http://tinyurl.com/twi-map .There would be minimal contact with participants.
As a TWI Delivery Driver Volunteer, you should:
- Have a valid Driver’s License
- Drive in a safe and responsible manner, obeying motor vehicle rules and regulations.
- Be able to perform physical tasks safely, including, but not limited to lifting, carrying and moving hampers weighing up to 20lbs
- Be an empathetic, clear, and patient communicator.
- Possess a cheerful and friendly demeanour.
- Possess a comfort, openness, and respect for working with people as they are, including diverse life experiences, culture, identity, beliefs, and values.
- Align with Carya’s values of respect, kindness, creativity, collaboration, belonging and wellness.

Through analysis of the role utilizing a Risk Assessment Matrix, we have determined this is a low-risk position, which requires successful completion of a Police Information Check (PIC). Our People & Culture Coordinator will assist you in completing this requirement.
