SHARE YOUR LOVE OF ART!
Do you have a passion for art & volunteering?
Enjoy working with people from different backgrounds?
As an integral part of Kemper Museum’s educational program, volunteer docents engage the museum's public through various, specialized roles. In all cases, docents provide opportunities for visitors to engage artwork and create lasting relationships with modern & contemporary art.
WHAT IS THE COMMITMENT?
The time involved in volunteering depends on the role for which you are trained. See details about Kemper Museum volunteer roles on our website and check the appropriate boxes to indicate which interest you, when you complete the application form. We will contact you when the roles that interest you are open for training.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?
In addition to receiving art history training, you will become part of a group of over 40 volunteers devoted to sharing their love of art with the public. As a docent, you will meet museum staff, artists, and scholars and have the opportunity to participate in field trips and special docent events.
