Dementia Activity Volunteers
Activity Volunteers will work on Warwick Hospital medical wards under the direction of SWFT Activity Coordinators. Volunteers will support patients who may have a dementia and/or delirium and maybe bored or lonely in need of some distractions from their situation. Volunteers will link with with Activity Coordinator to provide activities such as crosswords, quizzes, cards or board games.
Volunteers will need to be patient, good communicators and team players with a willingness to talk to and listen to vulnerable patients.
