VOLUNTEER OPENINGS - MEMB: Volunteer Engagement Managers

Summary: Support the Director of Volunteer Engagement with onboarding and volunteer engagement activities



  • Attend Chapter events and continue engagement with current and potential volunteers
  • Onboarding: 

    • Gather information from VPs on open volunteer positions
    • Engage new volunteers, including interviewing and email communications, and connect them with the appropriate VP
    • Complete new volunteer orientation and trainings
  • Engagement:

    • Support the Membership department in engagement activities, including networking sessions
    • Be the primary point of contact for volunteers for questions or issues
    • Track active volunteers by ensuring that they are logging hours and participating in chapter activities
    • Participate in volunteer offboarding activities as directed by Director of Volunteer Engagement
  • Participate in planning activities for the Membership department


    Estimated Time Commitment: Approx. 1 to 3 hours per week, working remotely. In addition, 1-2 hours per month for in person chapter events and activities
