Maintenance and Handyperson Volunteer - Community Centres
Our community and sports centres are welcoming, well-used spaces that rely on regular upkeep to remain safe, functional and inviting for everyone. We are seeking a Handyperson and Maintenance Volunteer to assist with minor fixes and general maintenance tasks across our community centres.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and takes pride in helping maintain shared community spaces.
Responsibilities
- Assist with minor maintenance and repair tasks (e.g. basic fixes, adjustments, and upkeep)
- Support staff by identifying maintenance issues and helping address them where appropriate
- Help ensure community centres remain safe, functional and welcoming environments
Requirements and Conditions
- National Police Check
- Relevant checks or clearances as required for community centre access
When and Where
- Flexible days and times by agreement
- Kilburn Community Centre and the Lights Community and Sports Centre
