Justice of the Peace
The City of Port Adelaide Enfield are committed to supplying useful and valuable services to its residents. A Justice of the Peace provides valuable and high demand services to the public in relation to legal and official documents.
We are seeking South Australia appointed Justice of the Peace (JPs) to provide a reliable and confidential service to members of the public in accordance with council and legislative requirements within council buildings such as libraries, community centres and the Civic Centre.
Responsibilities
- Provide a professional, welcoming and friendly service
- Act as an independent and objective witness to documents people use for official or legal purposes
- Be part of a dedicated team of volunteers that provide a well utilised Justice of the Peace service during City of PAE business hours
- Record all volunteer hours and JP stats via TimeClock
Requirements and Conditions
- Applicants will need to be registered with the SA Attorney General’s Department

Flexible times during operating hours across all Council Offices (subject to room availability)
