Food Crew

The City of Port Adelaide Enfield would like to expand their Flourish Team Food Crew Volunteers at LeFevre Community Stadium, Osborne.

We are currently looking for local community volunteers interested in supporting people on low income. We have two opportunities. One is supporting the Food Relief Market on Wednesdays. The other is the new Open Kitchen Project.

Wednesdays Food Relief Market requires volunteers to take on different roles as required. This may be food service, distributing fresh produce, making up food hampers or greeting community members at the door.

Thursday Open Kitchen Project will require volunteers to work together to help others with basic kitchen skills, follow basic recipes, support others to learn how to eat well and provide friendship and guidance. Both of the roles offer training around food safety and hygiene along with additional training to be identified.

We are looking for potential volunteers who have time each week, love to cook, are interested in building positive wellbeing in others and are committed to connecting with others around food.
