Volunteer Driving Mentor

Volunteer Driving Mentor

One of the biggest barriers for youth in getting an Apprenticeship is having a driver’s license. The L2P Drive with Me volunteer mentoring program has been designed to assist in combating this issue.

Volunteer Mentors are required for L2P Drive with Me – a charity based learn to drive program that has commenced in Port Adelaide Enfield to support young financially disadvantaged people in gaining their driver’s license. The L2P program supports learners towards completing their 75 hours required to gain their P’s. 4 vehicles, with individually wrapped designs (Toyota Corolla Hybrid) (see picture) are fitted with L hand brake and are based at various meeting points where participants and mentors will meet to commence the 2 hour session.
